Who I am

This website belongs to Wendi Burr, author of The Burr Method. If you have any questions about your details, contact me through the contact page.

What I collect

If you join my mailing list, I keep your first name, your email address and the date you signed up.

If you send a message through the contact page, I keep your name, your email address and what you wrote, so that I can reply.

I do not collect anything else, and I never sell or share your details for anyone else’s marketing.

Why I keep it

I use your email address to send you the occasional letter you asked for, and to reply to messages. I only email you about my writing, The Burr Method and related work.

Where it is kept

Your details are stored securely in my Google account (Google Sheets). If I later move to a dedicated email service to send letters, your details will be moved there for the same purpose, and this note will be updated.

How long I keep it

I keep your details for as long as you are on the mailing list. Messages are kept for as long as needed to reply and follow up, and are then deleted.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any letter or through the contact page. You can also ask to see the details I hold about you, or ask me to correct or delete them, and I will do so promptly.

Cookies and visitor statistics

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

I use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit, which pages they read and roughly which countries they visit from. It does not use cookies, does not collect personal data and does not follow individual visitors.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google to display the text.
